Texas Weather

By Luddie
The weather started out absolutely yucky today. Cloudy, very humid, and the temperature hovering somewhere between uncomfortably cold and uncomfortably warm. Can I just say it was uncomfortable?

But then the wind came in and blew some clouds away and all was better. I was shuffling sweaters on and off all day, not quite sure how to deal with it.

Anyway, took a spanish test. I feel this time that I was much better prepared than last test. I did all the homework on time, got some good studying last night, and performed as well as could be expected on the test. Can't say that my grade will be phenomenal but hey, do your best right?

Statistics... Geoff and I finally reached the conclusion that the man just can't teach. So, as well as one could be expected to do under that circumstance, I suppose we're doing alright. No test 'til after spring break. :-)

Newspaper meeting tonight @ 8... we'll be assigning new stories. And foooooood

I'm trying to think what is due this week, but all I can think of really is just a map quiz for Western Civ and a lil short essay for Texas/West. Neither of them due until Thursday.

I'll probably play my guitar later on.

Yesterday I went to church and came back and played some DAOC and then studied for Spanish. I had wanted to watch Gladiator again, but didn't get around to it. (only seen it once, and I was half-asleep.) At 9 I went to prayer & praise; it was very good. I met two new random guys and we prayed for each other. It just so happens one of them is in my history class so maybe we might talk again some time.

Then after much hard spanish studying, I rewarded myself with some guitar playing before bed. I went out to the side stairwell nearest my room and played some worship songs and sang. It's fun to do it in there because the room makes your voice and the guitar echo a lot, and people rarely come by. I guess it's like singing in the shower, except times ten.

Soooooo... can't think of anything else remotely exciting that happened today. So I'll stop.

Guitar playing in stairwells IS a blast. Your own Carnegie Hall.

I haven't been really warm for several months - you just get used to it after a while. Sooooo ready for Spring!
