Half-Life 2
So today I bought what many people (whom I respect, mind you) consider to be the finest thing to ever happen to video gaming, ever. It is a recently released PC game by the name of Half-Life 2, about the exploits of one Gordon Freeman, a scientist forced to save the planet because of alien invasion.
Unoriginal sounding story, I know, but it is nonetheless impressive graphically. And I can't even complain about the story because even that is rumored to be very good. I can say nothing concrete, because I still won't disservice myself by reading up more on the game. I'm holding it as a surprise, one I greatly anticipated opening today.
I installed the game on this my laptop, a decently upgraded little Alienware Sentia. Alas, integrated video cards just weren't meant for the graphical splendors of Half-Life 2. :D
So I must wait to even see the game until I return to school. Ah well.
